The Hub Angels Investment Group is one of the oldest angel groups in the Boston area, making investments in young tech and life science companies since March 2000. We currently manage a portfolio of 26 companies across four funds. The Hub funds and Members have invested more than $20 million in a broad range of sectors including Mobile/Media, Internet/Web Services, Software, Life Sciences, and Electronics/Industrial. Venture firms that have participated in financing Hub’s portfolio of companies include: DFJ Gotham, Greenhill, Javelin, First Round, Norwich, Partners, Rock Maple, Brook, Thomas Weisel, Fidelity, BCVP, Bessemer, Blue Chip, VCFNE, Seed, Origin, Intel, TL, Singapore EDB, Venrock, Commonwealth, and FlagShip. Collectively this constitutes more than $150 million of invested capital.

Our Members believe that money is only one part of the way in which angels can help to grow companies. Through contacts, connections, advice and board work, Hub seeks to add value and make companies more successful--faster. In addition, Hub has developed an extensive network of academic, venture capital, legal, accounting, and industry contacts which provide significant value. This network is a rich source of high quality deal flow, technical expertise to assist in the due diligence process, and connections and contacts for our portfolio companies.
